Sr. Accountant Financial Systems - BPC

We are seeking a Senior Accountant - Financial Systems - BPC to support our internal finance and accounting teams. The successful candidate will serve as a system administrator for systems assigned, specifically BPC Netweaver and EPM with a consolidation focus. They will be responsible for maintaining and updating BPC reports currently used by accounting teams and updating BPC reports to modernize and create agility as hierarchies change using BPC EPM reporting tool. The Senior Accountant will ensure that systems assigned are always current with patches and guide finance teams in creating change requests. They will participate in Financial system or master data audit as assigned, maintain BPC FICO master data, and troubleshoot issues to help teammates or point them to the correct team if needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as system administrator for systems assigned – specifically BPC Netweaver and EPM (consolidation focus)

• Maintain and update BPC reports currently used by accounting teams

• Update BPC reports to modernize create agility as hierarchies change using BPC EPM reporting tool

• Responsible for ensuring systems assigned are always current – patches etc.

• Guide finance team in creating change requests (CR)

• Ensure training documentation is current

• Challenge the status quo and work in cross functional environment

• Lite project management to ensure projects are moving forward

• Participate in Financial system or master data audit as assigned

• Maintain BPC FICO master data

• Key Business Process testing

• Become part of the “go to” team for financial systems and process improvement

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business administration or similar

• 2-3 years of experience with SAP & BPC from an accounting perspective either directly as an end user or support of end users

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles preferably through direct experience in an accounting role

• Must have experience with SAP and BPC Netweaver and EPM excel add-in (Winshuttle, Blackline a plus)

• Ability to communicate and enforce controls across all business levels

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong team approach

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles - Accounting 101

• A change agent

• Enjoys working with data as well as people

• Ability to do lite project management

• Utilize critical thinking technics to bring dynamic problem solution in support of global finance team

The base salary range for this position is typically $80,000 to $92,000 with additional bonus and benefits available. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.
