Summary

As a Cloud Security Project Manager at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities. Gainwell is seeking a Security Project Manager who can provide technical leadership and be accountable for all security-related compliance and delivery for the customers assigned.  

Your role in our mission

• Audit security processes ensuring data is protected from both internal and external attack.
• Conducts security assessments to ensure adherence to customer specific security policy, procedures, and industry standards.
• Evaluates, and maintains security systems according to industry best practices to safeguard internal information systems and databases.
• Assists with the review and definition of security requirements and reviews systems to determine if they are designed to comply with established standards and architecture’s.
• Asist in investigating security violations and breaches; Prepares reports on intrusions and violations as necessary.
• Reviews project task related security process, track, take notes and update status for continuous review and improvements. 
• Work with project management tools and other related security related reporting tools to develop easy to understand reporting.
• Ability to speak and convey reporting to a team. 
• Lead small to medium team meetings.

What we're looking for

• Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• PMP Certification
• Cloud certification and cloud engineering experience desired but not required.
• Three or more years of computer science, management information systems, or data security experience
• Experience working with information and network security practices.
• Experience working with cloud systems / security software packages.
• Experience working with security architecture.
• Experience leading and working with small to medium teams.
• Proactive and can operate independently with guidance.
• Make decisions independently based off organizational and security best practices.

What you should expect in this role

• Fully Remote Opportunity and occasional travel
• Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
• Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
