The Opportunity:
A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable organizations to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? That’s why we need you, an experienced network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the DoD needs.
As a network engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in SATCOM to support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.
Your knowledge of equipment and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in SATCOM, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you’ll make an impact on national security missions.

You Have:
10+ years of experience with SATCOM engineering
Experience serving as a subject matter expert in all aspects of transmission, including modulation and coding, link budgets, radio frequency equipment, antennas, waveforms, blockage mitigation, and algorithms or protocols
Experience supporting analysis of system performance, throughput and response time, analysis of operational requirements, and system loading
Experience conducting design reviews and systems engineering evaluations of satellite and terminal designs
Experience participating in proposal and technical evaluations for satellite systems
Knowledge of systems engineering methods and processes to perform SATCOM system analysis and evaluations for both commercial and military systems
Knowledge of Military Standards (MIL-STDs) and certification processes
Knowledge of customer or vendor product development, business proposals, marketing interaction, product design, and manufacturing processes
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree, or HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience in engineering or cyber security

Ability to translate complex technical issues into meaningful terms for others involved
Ability to provide in-depth technical assessments and analysis of activities within and between programs
Ability to support the design of system architectures, terminals, waveforms and access protocols
Ability to effectively coordinate within and outside of the program management office
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
