The Senior Manager, Software Engineering, leads platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and roadmap milestones. This role oversees shared infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks to support scalable, secure development while guiding architectural and system design decisions. Responsible for driving the full software development lifecycle across multiple teams, the position champions DevOps practices, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. The role fosters collaboration across engineering, product, and data teams to deliver robust, AI-integrated solutions that meet business goals and maintain high system availability and performance.

About Team:
Our team is focused on developing a streamlined, dependable company that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience (ADE). We also provide a variety of services such as procurement, supplier portfolio management, merchandising master data, and analytics. From developing HR chatbots and virtual assistants to creating invoice solutions and facilitating legal changes, we help drive efficiency across Walmart globally.

What you'll do:

• Lead platform engineering efforts, ensuring alignment with domain priorities and roadmap milestones for scalable, secure software and AI/ML systems.
• Oversee architectural reviews and system design to promote maintainability, extensibility, and performance across services.
• Drive full software development lifecycle management, including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance across multiple teams.
• Champion DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to enhance delivery efficiency and system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML features and intelligent automation into products.
• Mentor engineers, fostering technical excellence, rigorous testing, and adherence to security standards.
• Manage stakeholder relationships to align technical initiatives with business goals and track operational metrics.
