Senior Merchandiser
What will you do?
A day in the life of a Senior Merchandiser at Dickies looks a little like this.
The Senior Merchant is responsible for building and supporting the overall merchandising strategy and category management in Men’s, with a primary focus on Dickies bottoms category in the US workwear market. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, consumer preferences, line plan management, and assortment planning to drive sales and profitability. The Senior Merchandiser will work closely with the Men’s Merchandising Director and cross functional teams to ensure a compelling and competitive product assortment.

Develop and execute merchandising strategies for Men’s workwear with a focus on the Bottoms category
Manage product lifecycles, regularly assessing the product line through line rationalization to optimize efficiency
Conduct thorough market research to understand trends, competitor offerings, and consumer preferences.
Generate and analyze reports on sales performance, use insights from reports plus market analysis to inform product selection and merchandising plans
Implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive, adjust prices based on market conditions, cost analysis, and sales performance.
Close partnership with Men’s design and development teams to lead a comprehensive category approach
Create and execute merchandising plans that show where we are increasing and decreasing styles/skus to improve efficiency and how we will build the assortment to achieve financial targets and brand goals
Ownership of the line plan, on time and accurate completion of GTM deliverables
Compelling GTM meeting presentations that get people excited about the product. Strong presentation skills to cross functional teams including Leadership, Sales, Regional Merchandisers, Marketing
Collaborate with marketing teams to support through the GTM process, the intent from product briefing through sell in and consumer messaging
