Label Room Clerk (Night Shift)

Night Shift 6 6pm- 6:30am

The Label Room Clerk is responsible for issuing, coding and inventorying labels used on Pharmavite's products ensuring accuracy, completeness, and strict compliance with all procedures. 

Key Responsibilities

Critical contribution this role is counted on to deliver include:

• Sets-up Lot Number & Expiration Dates on Label Hot Stamp block.

• Receives, stores, and issues labels.

• Audits labels received to ensure accuracy.

• Maintains control of label stock via computer system; completes and maintains logs.

• Issues labels in accordance with work order instructions.

• Checks schedule board to determine what labels are needed for production runs; monitors schedule board for changes.

• Uses bar code printer to print bar code labels.

• Prints and issues transfers for pallets of products in accordance with work order instructions.

• Uses small hand tools to adjust, make minor repairs to, and clean labeling machines.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Critical Success Factors

You'll be successful in this role if you have:

• A high school diploma or GED is required.

• One year manufacturing experience preferred.

• Manual dexterity to manipulate/operate controls on printers and computer terminals.

• Proficient English skills to read and understand packaging standards, standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, maintain written records, read and understand product labels and work orders, and communicate with supervisors and co-workers.

• Familiarity with computer terminal operation.

• Basic math skills (addition and subtraction) to maintain inventory records.

• Basic mechanical skills to disassemble/assemble and make minor adjustments to equipment.

• Stand/walk for most of the work shift, with little flexibility to move from their stations.  

• Write in Label Room logs.  

• Perform repetitive job duties for long periods of time. Intermittently lift loads of up to 30 pounds.  

• Adjust to changes in work priorities and schedules.

• Work within specific deadlines.

The salary range for this position is $40,000.00 - $66,000.00. 

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
