Engineering Lead / Senior Software Engineer

Following on from our continued growth and success, Intapp is looking for an Senior Software Engineer to work with our growing AI & Data team in Berlin. You will be a part of a growing, innovative team and will work closely with the engineering, ML Ops, Data Science, Data leads, and product managements to enhance our existing software and develop new products.

You will own the design and development of project using modern technologies such as Python and cloud languages, build on Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions. This senior engineering role offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership and experience into the existing team.

The ideal candidate will have deep engineering experience and experience of development in Python including the delivery of production service delivery on Microsoft Azure cloud services ( or AWS ).

What you will do:

• Facilitate cross functional discussions to capture requirements and understand customer needs to provide technical leadership.

• Develop code to company / industry standards working closely with wider development team, product management and QA teams.

• Maintain a high level of code quality focused on engineering testing and quality into your development process.

• Work with Product Management / Head of Development to innovate and architect enhancements / new products to meet market / customer demands

• Mentoring team members as required

What you will need:

• An understanding and proficiency in delivering software development projects using agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean

• Proven experience working in or leading teams with a track record delivering large scale projects

• Demonstrable experience in Python or similar languages

• Experience developing with nodeJS, typescript, .Net, C# and other modern languages

• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes.

• Unit testing software prior to handover to formal test teams

• Demonstrated test driven development approach is highly desirable.

• Work with Product Management / Head of Development to innovate and architect enhancements / new products to meet market / customer demands

• Ability to work to tight timescales and track record in meeting deadlines

• Excellent problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills

• Experience in software architecture design and will feel comfortable driving high level discussions and representing the team within the business
