Our core focus is on airlines, airports, travel agencies, destinations, tourism boards, hotels, car rentals, travel retailers, and luxury brands.</p><p></p><h3><strong>Who we are looking for</strong></h3><p>As a Senior Back-end Engineer (Python), you will serve as a senior member of our tech team, reporting directly to the CEO in a flat organisational structure. Working closely with Engineering and Data Science, you will spend the majority of your time developing the Python-based application logic and services that power our product. We believe in working smart, with strong focus and intensity, tackling every challenge as a team.</p><p></p><h3>Your work</h3><ul><li>Own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend APIs and related infrastructure using FastAPI, Flask, and Postgres.</li><li>Design and optimise backend architecture on AWS, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.</li><li>Champion CI/CD best practices and automated testing pipelines with GitLab CI/CD to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.</li><li>Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and data teams to deliver robust backend solutions that power analytics, product features, and decision-making.</li><li>Mentor and support fellow engineers in building scalable, maintainable, and well-tested systems.</li><li>Continuously influence and improve the team’s engineering practices, tools, and workflow.</li></ul>
