About the role
As an Automotive, Embedded, and Industrial Product Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our product lines across these critical sectors. You will be responsible for defining the product value proposition, conducting comprehensive market analysis, and actively engaging with silicon vendors, Tier 1 suppliers, OEMs, and key players in the Automotive, embedded and industrial markets. Your goal will be to ensure our products meet diverse market needs and maintain a competitive edge by leveraging technical assessments and customer feedback.
In this role, you will:
- Market Intelligence and Strategy Development:
- Conduct thorough market research to understand trends, competitor strategies, and needs within the automotive, embedded, and industrial sectors.
- Identify potential market segments for product penetration in each sector and develop targeted strategies.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements across these industries to ensure our product offerings are cutting-edge.
- Product Planning and Definition:
- Lead the development of Market Requirements Documents (MRDs), System Requirements Documents (SRDs), and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) based on detailed requirements and analyses of SAM and TAM analysis
- Collaborate closely with internal architecture and design teams to finalize product definitions, ensuring alignment with market demands across automotive, embedded, and industrial applications.
- Continuously engage with stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle to refine and adapt the product family to evolving market needs.
- Product Value Proposition and Messaging:
- Develop clear and compelling product value propositions that resonate with target customers in the automotive, embedded, and industrial sectors.
- Ensure product features meet the distinct demands of each market segment and customer expectation.
- Manage the creation and distribution of marketing collaterals, such as brochures, datasheets, and case studies for each sector.
- Create technical content and collateral that demonstrate the product value proposition, such as demos, proofs of concept, technical articles, and white papers.
- Customer Engagement and Feedback Integration:
- Directly engage with key industry players across automotive, embedded, and industrial sectors to gather comprehensive feedback on product performance and expectations.
- Facilitate the flow of customer insights back to the product and design teams to inform development and improvements.
- Serve as a primary liaison between technical teams and customers, ensuring effective communication and product capability representation.
- Promotional Activities and Product Launches:
- Organize and execute promotional activities, including industry-specific trade shows, webinars, and events.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches that accurately reflect the value proposition of each sector.
- Lead product training sessions for sales teams and channel partners, tailored to each market segment.
- Technical and Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct technical assessments and competitive analysis specific to automotive, embedded, and industrial markets.
- Offer strategic recommendations based on a deep understanding of each sector's unique challenges and opportunities.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate product performance in the market, recommending strategic adjustments as necessary.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, with a strong focus on the automotive, embedded, or industrial sectors.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics and technological trends in these industries.
- Proven capability to analyze market data and convert complex technical information into effective strategic plans.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
A plus if you have:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Direct experience with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in automotive, embedded, or industrial markets.
- Technical background in electronics design or systems engineering within these sectors.
Work Environment:
- This role involves frequent interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders across different industries.
- Travel to customer sites, industry conferences, and trade shows is expected.
