Dining Attendant [Alexander's Restaurant, Part Time]

Description

This position is responsible for assisting the servers with every aspect of setup, service and breakdown. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assist in setup of side station to assure ease of service throughout the night.
• Serve water as guests are seated and throughout the meal.
• Assist servers with food running and course clearing.
• Provide bread service to guests using proper service techniques.
• Buss, re-linen and reset tables, including, but not limited to, wiping off seats, removing debris from floor and changing empty candle cartridges.
• Empty trash from dining room area after each shift and front office as needed.
• Keep ice bins filled and iced tea and fresh coffee made throughout the night.
• Help to run glasses through dishwasher and polish to remove any spots or streaks.
• Assist with polishing silverware and utensils to include, but not limited to the following: bread tongs, water/tea/coffee pitchers, bread trays and any stainless steel or silver serving instrument.
• Attend to special needs of management as business prescribes.
• All other duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

• Six months of dining room attendant experience preferred
• Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred
