Description
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of hematology & benign hematology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, medical residents, and fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.
Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients in the outpatient practices at the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and inpatient call. The selected candidate will have experience in general hematology and benign/malignant hematology. Clinical responsibilities will be based on a hospitalist/intensivist model.
