Our Frederick, CO robotics team, located roughly 30 minutes from both Denver and Boulder, supports a number of innovative autonomous products across the business.

We are looking for a creative, motivated, and dynamic individual to help us build and support industry-leading mobile and web applications for our suite of autonomous outdoor products. TTC solutions leverage the latest technologies in software design, communications, and user engagement methodologies. Solution owners in this position will have the opportunity to create and deploy sophisticated real-time robotic management applications utilizing the latest UI/UX concepts and IoT technologies in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere.

What Will You Do? 

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: 

Design application UI/UX and other graphical features for a variety of brands and products.
Code and support mobile robotics applications using the React Native/Expo/Ignite frameworks.
Apply IoT technologies for real-time remote control of autonomous products and features.
Collaborate with team members, customers, and product leadership on all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

What Do You Need? 

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

Bachelor of Computer Science degree or equivalent degree required.
Demonstrated experience with JavaScript/TypeScript development language.
Two or more years of React Native development experience.
Experience with behavior driven development (BDD) principles, unit, and integration testing.
Experience with one or more agile software development processes (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.).
