Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone Orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The Senior Director, Head of Global Security leads the enterprise security strategy to protect the organization’s people, assets, intellectual property, clinical research, and global operations. This role provides leadership and operational oversight across physical security, executive protection, threat intelligence, supply chain security, insider threat, security training and awareness, and workplace violence prevention.
 

Operating within a regulated MedTech environment, the role ensures security programs enable business continuity, safeguard sensitive information and clinical trials, and support safe operations across global facilities, partners, and manufacturing sites. The position partners closely with Legal, Compliance, HR, IT, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Clinical Operations, Facilities Management, Communications, and Executive Leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global security strategy aligned with business objectives and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).

• Establish security governance, policies, and standards across global operations.

• Provide executive‑level reporting on security risks, incidents, and program performance.
