Territory:

  • Kansas, Nebraska, North/South Dakota, Minnesota, Eastern Montana, Western Missouri
  • This role is field based and candidates must reside in the assigned territory and be able to travel up to 40%, including overnight travel.

What You'll Be Doing

As a member of Baxter’s sales team aligned to your assigned territory, you'll support territory sales activities to drive overall revenue number for region with a focus on specific product lines.

The SA also provides product in-service training for the Patient Support Systems portfolio (Smartbeds, surfaces & other medical devices) in a hospital setting to support product optimization. The SA ensures educational programs meet corporate and customer goals and acts as a liaison between the team and customers.

  • Work directly alongside the sales team and customers, communicating with internal partners and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in delivery/implementation planning activities (customer meetings, conference calls, WebEx training, etc.)
  • Use Salesforce to assist in driving new sales opportunities while helping maintain existing business.
  • Meet monthly/quarterly/annual quotas assigned by the corporation.
  • Lead all aspects of the installation of new products post-delivery to the customers.
  • Engage with the install base and existing customers for incremental purchases, pricing/delivery issues, and overall support to improve their experience.
  • Establish an understanding of the portfolio’s competitive differentiation to assist customers in product selection.
  • Ensure clinical adoption across the product portfolio through product trialing, demonstrations, and in-servicing to improve customers’ adoption of their portfolio.
  • Schedule and complete customer sales calls quotas and follow up on opportunities to develop the business
  • Assist with set up of product demonstrations for customers as requested.
  • Provide input on new markets and products, handle customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.
  • Support site visits, product fairs, and mock rooms, as necessary.
  • Record activities and contacts within Salesforce.com and assuring that all information remains current and detail is relevant.

What you'll bring

  • High school degree/GED required with 4+ years related experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1+ years experience.
  • Inside or field sales role in the healthcare or similar industry preferred.
  • Computer literate (must demonstrate a strong solid understanding of excel, PowerPoint and Word). Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent formal presentation skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to speak clearly and articulately over the phone.
  • Flexible, autonomous, and able to collaborate with multiple team members to support positive customer experiences.
  • Must be willing/able to travel up to 40% of time, which and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually
