A Day in the Life

This individual will be responsible for leading the development and execution of patient marketing programs, in close collaborating with external partners and cross-functional teams.

We are hiring a Principal Specialist – Patient Market Development to be part of our high-performing patient marketing team as we expand the launch of this novel therapy. We look for leaders at every level who have a clear vision of where we are going and how to get there and are bold inclusive thinkers who create new ideas and bring our best solutions forward to benefit our patients, business partners, and customers.  

 
A DAY IN THE LIFE: 

This individual will be responsible for leading the development and execution of patient marketing programs, in close collaborating with external partners and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities will include: 

  • Manage multi-channel patient marketing program, in close collaboration with relevant HCP marketing and field counterparts, to activate local patient access
  • Collaborate closely within the patient team to execute and integrate program as part of a broader direct-to-consumer strategy
  • Lead agency partnership to support flawless execution, ongoing improvements, and program optimization
  • Partner with legal, compliance, and regulatory stakeholders to accelerate development of innovative patient-centric programs
  • Develop patient testimonials and patient ambassador program
  • Leverage patient insights to improve patient experience across channels
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills to strategically deploy programs as well as track, report, and optimize on program performance.

Nice to Have: 

  • M.B.A. or another Advanced Degree 
  • Demonstrated experience leading strong agency partnerships
  • Exceptional project-management skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders including patients, physicians, key opinion leaders, and an extensive sales organization
  • Experience in driving integrated digital campaigns and innovative marketing solutions in highly regulated environment
  • Proven track record of navigating a complex matrixed environment in a fast-moving organization
  • Exceptional collaboration and communications skills
  • Experience in direct-to-patient marketing and/or market development experience in medical device industry

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$127,200.00 - $190,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
