Position Summary:
The Executive Vice President Operations is a key member of the corporate executive team and helps drive direction, strategy and plans in the execution of the company's goals and priorities especially as it relates to the company’s manufacturing and supply chain operations.
The Executive Vice President Operations position is directly responsible for the overall administration, planning, execution, and evaluation of the company’s manufacturing and supply chain operations functions.
What you'll do:
- Accountable for the development and execution of the manufacturing and supply chain operations vision, functional strategy and budgeting that coincide with the company’s strategic and financial goals and objectives.
- Recruit, develop, and retain world-class talent.
- Partners with all parties and creates the proper organizational structure to drive a high performing team that delivers outstanding results.
- Ensures effective and efficient processes are in place for all facets of the manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Deliver safe and innovative solutions that produces and distributes products that are highly robust for all applications during their entire life cycle, while being fiscally responsible.
- Instill a safety first and continuous improvement mindset for both product and process enhancements,
- Inspire a passion for winning and relentless execution in alignment with ODL’s Solid-Soft-Risky (SSR) core values.
- Communicates and builds commitment for the strategic direction and management plans.
- Maintains and builds upon their knowledge of industry trends, technology advances, and competitive threats.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree, MBA or graduate degree is highly desired
- Minimum of 10 years of successful experience in a variety of manufacturing and supply chain disciplines, including management experience
- Prior experience in international markets and global sourcing is highly desired
- Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes
- Black Belt Certification desired
- Proven ability to effectively influence, build trust, communicate and interact with all levels of the organization and outside stakeholders
- Must have demonstrated ability to lead people
- Proven ability to lead diverse, multicultural teams across geographical boundaries while respecting and leveraging cultural differences. Possess an understanding of international markets, cultures, regulations, and risks, as well as the ability to navigate complex global landscapes to drive sustainable growth and success within your organization.
