We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our talented Finance team:

The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 8 years of experience in either public accounting or an accounting department of a healthcare organization. A CPA license is a plus. They will perform complex accounting duties such as oversee financial operations, prepare financial reports, analyze financial data, cost accounting, and guide accounting personnel in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial and business transactions, applying accounting principles.
  • Manages, directs, and reviews the work of the accounting staff
  • Resolves complex accounting issues or assists other accounting staff in resolving financial issues.
  • Assist with annual cost reports
  • Perform general ledger reconciliation and analysis.
  • Prepare general journal entries for review.
  • Ensure adherence to standard accounting procedures and maintain accounting files.
  • Assist in annual audits.
  • Track trends through general account analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Assist regulators and company auditors with inquiries.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Makes and implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.
  • Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities accurately and timely.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Experience: 4 to 8 years of experience in either public accounting or an accounting department of a healthcare organization.
  • A CPA license is a plus

Salary Range: $98,000 - $130,000
