Job Description

As a valued contributor to our team, you will lead a complex enterprise-wide program, which has impacts reaching broadly across Fannie Mae and the industry, establishing cross-program, intra-portfolio oversight and management for impacted capabilities.  You will drive a common vision for the goals and desired outcomes for the program that is shared across the teams, increasing alignment and effective engagement. 

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE 

The SF Business Office - Program Management - Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities: 

  • Define and enforce governance structure to enable collaboration and prioritization across capability portfolios 
  • Coordinate and monitor the asset-level projects and activities within the program for over 90 internal assets 
  • Drive internal requirements definition for the Credit Directive program through capability-level tabletop discussions and document end to end process 
  • Manage coordinated effort with external stakeholders, partners and customers through documenting and communicating decisions, driving action items and managing shared milestones, risks and issues 
  • Provide expertise on establishing and implementing a program or initiative. 
  • Ensure operational and production readiness for each phase of the program through coordinating asset release rollouts and business operations training and process documentation 
  • Delivery of value metrics and reporting analysis 
  • Stakeholder relationship management 

 

 

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM 

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • At least 6 years of relevant implementation and program management experience 
  • Experience managing and implementing broad, enterprise-wide initiatives and at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion 
  • Experience with forecasting and budget management 
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to C-Suite level audiences in a way that is engaging and easy to understand 
  • Experience coordinating with external stakeholders through documenting and communicating decisions, driving action items and managing shared risks and issues 
  • Strong Communications skills including communicating in writing or verbally, and planning and distributing communication 

 

Desired Experiences 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • Experience working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal 
  • Experience in Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc. 
  • Experience with Jira, Excel, Powerpoint and Confluence
