Position Description:

Become a key player in our team as a Home Delivery Driver! You’ll ensure our products reach customers promptly, reflecting our company's high standards of customer satisfaction and efficiency. In this role, you’ll increase profitability as you bring smiles to faces with our Oberweis ice cream, milk, and other quality products.

Salary: $46,000-$60,000, with opportunities for additional earnings.

Schedule:

• 5-night work week
• Start Time: Sunday night at 10 PM
• Shift Duration: Approximately 8-10 hours per night, with flexibility based on the time required to safely and accurately complete a designated number of deliveries.
• Off Time: Friday afternoon through Sunday night

HOME DELIVERY DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pre-inspections of delivery trucks
• Prepare orders from load sheets and handheld computers
• Deliver a variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Complete daily paperwork for deliveries and DOT regulations
• Practice safe driving by following DOT regulations and safety standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., frequently perform pushing / pulling of product
• Ability to drive safely and work in all weather and traffic conditions
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, physical environment
• Clean driving record
