As a Packaging Team Lead for Nutrition & Health, you will be responsible for leading a team of shift workers in the processes required to package, warehouse, and load an active pharmaceutical ingredient. The successful candidate will be safety focused, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined and able to respond quickly to changing priorities. 

During your 12-hour shift as a Packaging Team Lead, you will

 

• Assuring standards of safety, environmental, team and individual performance are met in a high-performance team-based organization.
• Ensuring product quality, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA requirements are met by regular field verifications of team activities related to packaging, warehousing and shipping.
• Proactively preparing equipment for scheduled maintenance activities, including safe work permitting, to support equipment reliability and productivity.
• Being results driven, detail-oriented, dependable, and safety conscious.
• Participating on emergency response teams’ condition of employment.

If you...

 

• Hold a high school Diploma or GED with 5 years of in a chemical and warehouse manufacturing environment
• Are able to work 12h rotating shifts (DuPont schedule)
• Possess leadership experience, demonstrating strong behaviors in safety and environmental performance
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Have experience with fork lift operation and daily verifications
• Bring experience with Work Permit Writing, packaging equipment and PLCs
