Position Summary:
Biomason is looking for a Development and Operations Senior Manager to join our team at our Biocement Operations Center in Ikast, Denmark. This position will be responsible for biocementation process transfer and optimization; and driving results in a fast-paced environment in support of product development and product manufacturing within our European Field Services Department. This position will report to the Head of Technology Transfer and Field Operations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 5-10 years in relevant manufacturing field
Significant demonstrated experience in leading technology transfer & field engineering services
Direct experience with successful tech transfer to production scale
Demonstrated scale-up experience with project management and collaboration, successfully hitting aggressive timelines
Experience in developing training materials and performing necessary training
Proven projects of transferring technology, particularly in manufacturing processes
Effective verbal and written communication skills necessary to deliver technical presentations in support of transfer proposals and engineering reviews
Listens actively and proactively raises concerns and recommends solutions
Speaks Danish and English Fluently
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience with successful tech transfer to production scale in concrete production environments
Responsibilities:
Supports the rapid expansion of EU biological cement production capacity through the external scale-up and technology transfer to new and/or existing factories, starting with IBF in Ikast.
Manages multiple projects with external sites in different EU regions at different stages in the technology transfer process; leads a team of technical experts to achieve objectives.
Develops and organizes technology transfer documentation and training materials
Qualifies technologies and products at external sites through the use of data driven business processes and documentation.
Continuously improves customers quality, costs, cycle time and delivery performance through hands-on problem solving and can-do attitude.
Partners cross-functionally with chemists, biologists, and engineers to develop robust documentation describing operational processes and specifications
Coordinates closely with US based Engineering and R&D teams on scale-up challenges, research targets and priorities, and new discoveries
Manages vendor relationships, unblocks tech transfer installation timelines, and facilitates scope definition/understanding
Operational run planning, coordination, support, and excellence, including robust commitment to quality and change control
