Come join us!</span></p><p><strong>The Role: </strong></p> <p>We are seeking a talented Senior Android Engineer to kickstart and build up our Android development team.</p> <p>AlphaSense is expanding its platform to include a new Android app, in addition to its existing desktop and iOS clients. We are seeking an Android Engineer who is enthusiastic about developing innovative solutions and prepared to build the foundation for our Android app's success.</p> <ul> <li><strong>Integrate AlphaSense’s GenSearch features: </strong>Become a core team member and contribute to the development of a best-in-class, on-the-go answer-engine that delivers instant insights across internal &amp; external content</li> <li><span>Enterprise-grade architecture: Design the app to meet the specific requirements of enterprise environments, including SaaS and private cloud compatibility, MDM integration, data security, scalability, customization, and compliance.</span></li> <li><strong>Design the app architecture:</strong> Help create a modular and scalable architecture that can support both current and future needs.</li> <li><strong>Opportunity to use the latest Android SDKs:</strong> Work on the cutting edge of Android development, using the latest SDKs to build an app that's both modern and future-proof.</li> <li><strong>Choose the right third-party libraries:</strong> There are many third-party libraries available for Android development, and it is important to choose the ones that best fit the app's needs. We want to use libraries that are well-maintained, have a good reputation, and are compatible with the latest Android SDKs.</li> <li><strong>Integrate analytics and debugging tools:</strong> Analytics tools help us track the app's usage and identify areas for improvement. Debugging tools help us find and fix bugs in the app. We want to make sure that the app is instrumented with the necessary tools to help us monitor its performance and quickly resolve any issues.</li> </ul> <p>We will pair you up with a talented team and provide a highly energetic environment for continuous learning and career advancement opportunities.
