FINANCE CAGE CASHIER

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for verification and control of all cash and chips received or disbursed at their station.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Counts and verifies all activity from soft count.

Makes bank deposits

Redemption credits and fills

Makes banks for cashiers/slot/bingo and issues to each shift cashier.

Counts, bands and verifies cash in drawer and cross-audits drawers.

Verifies cage/slot/bingo cashiers’ drops.

Maintains a neat, clean and efficient work area.

Ensures that all company and departmental policies and procedures are followed.

Reports discrepancies to Supervisor.

Other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma required.

Accurate, heavy cash handling experience ($2k-$3k/day) for 6 months.

Ten key by touch

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS:

Exposure to a smoke filled and noisy environment frequently.
