Description -

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead IT process automation and operational excellence initiatives. This key role will oversee infrastructure automation, vulnerability data management, IT operations management systems (including CMDB, monitoring, and event management), and manage HP Anyware virtual desktop services for over 8,000 internal users. The candidate will be a visionary leader, capable of driving innovation, improving operational efficiencies, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities


•    IT Process Automation:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated processes to optimize IT operations across infrastructure, services, and applications.
-Collaborate with multiple organization and teams to drive the automation and deliver the required solutions.


•   Infrastructure Automation:
-Drive automation initiatives to streamline server, storage, and network operations using modern tools and technologies such as Ansible and ServiceNow.
- Vulnerability Data Management:
- Oversee the vulnerability management platform with Tenable and ServiceNow, ensuring effective collaboration with cybersecurity teams to track, report, and remediate vulnerabilities.


•    IT Operations Management:


-Manage and enhance the configuration management database (CMDB) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
-Lead monitoring and event management initiatives to maintain system stability and operational excellence.
-Explore AIOps to reduce incident noise and improve alert management.


•    HP Anyware Virtual Desktop Service:


-Manage the HP Anyware virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) service, supporting 8,000+ internal users.
-Ensure service reliability, scalability, and security.


•    Leadership and Collaboration:


-Lead a diverse team of engineers, developers, and IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
-Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, cybersecurity, and business functions to deliver impactful solutions.
-Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to leadership teams and stakeholders.

Education & Experience Recommended


•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    10+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, and process automation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
•    Proven experience in IT automation tools and frameworks (Ansible, ServiceNow, etc.).
•    Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes and cybersecurity collaboration.
•    Hands-on experience managing CMDB, monitoring, and event management systems.
•    Experience managing virtual desktop infrastructure services, preferably HP Anyware or equivalent.
•    Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
•    Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.

Preferred Certifications


• Programming Language/s Certification (Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar)

• ITIL certification is a plus.
• Experience with Splunk, ServiceNow CMDB, and Virtual Desktop technologies.

The base pay range for this role is $146,650 to $225,850 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
