- Design and implement new network architectures.
- Participate in technical decisions to improve the network landscape.
- Help create and improve both existing and future alerting and monitoring systems.
- Develop and optimize processes and documentation as well as perform network configuration changes and optimizations across a multivendor, multiprotocol environment.
- Work on performance measurement to ensure improved efficiency and will create process automation via scripting.
- Diagnose and correlate network problems, identify root causes, and develop/implement remediation strategies.
- Build new infrastructure.
- Analyze and implement new architectures.
- Develop and create new operational procedures.
- Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or related field and three years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
- Requires three years of experience in the following:
- 1. Coding in one of the following industry-standard languages: C, C++, Python or PHP
- 2. Deploying, implementing and supporting a variety of network equipment
- 3. Core web technologies such as HTML, CSS or Javascript
- 4. Developing automation and tooling
- 5. Designing, deploying and supporting large-scale service providers, datacenters, and enterprise network infrastructures.
