We are looking for a talented hands-on Manager to lead the Infrastructure Build and Logistics team. This role is responsible for the timely and predictable delivery of new physical infrastructure to Zscaler data centers, managing a global inventory of parts, and working with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth operation and ever increasing global capacity.

You will report to the Sr. Director, Software Development Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a small team of build engineers and shipping/receiving personnel.
• Lead Zscaler's import/export functions as it relates to hardware and other cloud infrastructure
• Manage the daily work queues
• Coordinate global shipping (both direct and partner originated) to Zscaler's global footprint
• Work across team boundaries within the Infrastructure organization to understand upcoming deployments and plan work queues to meet those targets.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory counts for Zscaler's global footprint
• Promote accurate internal and external visibility of new builds and break/fix work throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure that you maximize the productivity of your team, especially by predicting and resolving obstacles and dependencies before they're impediments to execution
• Contributing to talent hiring, people skill development, setting objectives and goals
• Responsible for weekly delivery status reporting, cross functional information dissemination, and project updates

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Due to the nature of the work US citizenship is required.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of IT, Build, or related teams
• 2+ years of experience with global import/export management
• Experience with large scale data center installation and management
• BS/MS degree Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience

What Will Make You Stand Out (Prefered Qualifications)

• Good work effort Estimation Practices particularly around build/assembly workflows.
• Experience with programming or scripting with Python or similar languages
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, both orally and written
• Experience sourcing and working with international import/export agents of record
• Experience with various customs and import rules and regulations (including Schedule B, EORI numbers)
• Experience with multiple Linux and FreeBSD build automation tools is a plus
• Experience with network administration is a plus
