2nd Shift Parts Room Clerk

Description

• Work with vendors getting quotes for parts and supplies.
• Create POs for new parts/services orders.
• Issue parts out of inventory
• Responsible for keeping parts room organized. (5S)
• Set up returns for parts and machines.
• Responsible for setting inventory min and max with direction from maintenance manager
• Required to document critical spare parts in MVP.
• Required to complete parts room inventory checks monthly.
• Code invoices for Accounts payable issued to maintenance department.
• Expected basic computer skills, Excel, and windows experience and able to learn MVP maintenance system.
• Able to work safely and independently and be strong team player.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School degree, some college preferred
• 2+ years' work experience parts room setting
• Database management
• MS Office proficiency, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Working knowledge of plant equipment and parts a plus
• May be required to work long hours and weekends
