Business Systems Analyst Principal | Hybrid

 

 

Partner with key stakeholders to understand operational opportunities and manages efforts to design and implement business systems solutions to achieve operational goals and efficiencies by applying knowledge of product, relevant regulations, and administrative processes.

 

What you do:

 

Digitalization plays a crucial role in the success of our business at Allianz Life. It impacts our customers and their experience, how we work, and how we engage and work with other companies. Your goal is to ensure Allianz products and related data are configured and positioned within eApplication systems, while focusing equally on ease of use and simplicity for the end consumer.

 

What you bring:

 

• Monitor regulations, new product offerings and changes to existing products for impacts to eApplication systems
• Configure and maintain insurance products on eApplication systems used by external financial professionals to purchase Allianz annuities or life insurance for their clients
• Research opportunities and developing recommendations to improve accuracy and efficiency of eApplication systems
• Documentation of processes, analysis performed, modifications and quality measures
• Understand programming concepts and insurance product features and mechanics
• Understand and use XML, ACORD standards and several proprietary macro languages
• Build projects to implement division priorities and important projects
• Collaborate with colleagues within team and on projects to deliver high quality, simplicity and ease of use for customers
• Help train individuals, senior reviewer of other's work

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

• Over 11 years of experience required
• Four-year degree – Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field; or specialized training or equivalent work experience
• Licensing/Certification/Other - Comprehensive technical skills at an expert level in: Insurance product features and mechanics; Programming concepts (XML, json, java); Knowledge of ACORD standards; Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) functionality including Visual Basic for Applications; Administration systems; Relevant regulations Additional Qualifications: · 13 + years of experience in insurance industry operational or system support role
