Enterprise Technology AI Engineer

<p>You will join Asana’s RevTech team as an <strong>AI Engineer</strong> focusing on enhancing AI capabilities across customer-facing platforms and initiatives that improve <strong>service quality, user satisfaction, and self-service efficiency</strong>. In this role, you will design, build, and operationalize <strong>AI-driven solutions</strong> that enhance enterprise systems and improve overall business outcomes — with a strong focus on delivering <strong>intelligent, customer-centric experiences</strong>.</p> <p>You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across technology, customer success, and support operations, helping bring the latest AI advancements — including <strong>retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)</strong>, <strong>agentic workflows</strong>, <strong>smart summarization</strong>, and <strong>embedding-based search</strong> — into scalable, real-world applications.This role is ideal for candidates passionate about applying AI to solve meaningful business challenges and create seamless user experiences.</p> <p>This role is based in our<strong> Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule</strong> - in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. </p> <p><strong>We offer a Contract of Employment (UoP) for our employees in Poland.</strong></p> <p><strong>What you’ll achieve</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Design and Develop AI Solutions:</strong> Build intelligent, scalable AI systems across a range of enterprise and customer-facing applications.</li> <li><strong>Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG):</strong> Develop RAG pipelines to enhance contextual understanding and improve information retrieval.</li> <li><strong>Prompt Engineering and Optimization:</strong> Craft effective prompts to guide large language models (LLMs) for business-critical workflows.</li> <li><strong>Embedding Generation and Vector Search:</strong> Create embeddings and manage vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) to power semantic search and personalized content delivery.</li> <li><strong>Conversational Summarization:</strong> Develop summarization models for chat transcripts, customer interactions, or other business conversations.</li> <li><strong>Support AI-Driven Business Goals:</strong> Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving key success metrics such as customer satisfaction, resolution times, and self-service adoption.</li> <li><strong>Testing and Validation:</strong> Develop AI-specific test frameworks and performance evaluation methodologies.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>5+ years</strong> of experience designing, building, and deploying AI-driven or intelligent systems in enterprise environments.</li> <li><strong>At least 1+ year of hands-on experience</strong> working with Generative AI technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and prompt engineering.</li> <li>Strong experience building AI-driven applications, especially customer-facing or enterprise-integrated solutions.</li> <li>Experience with RAG development libraries such as LangChain.</li> <li>Proficiency in Python and modern ML/AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).</li> <li>Experience integrating AI systems with APIs, databases, or enterprise platforms.</li> <li>Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for AI deployments.</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.</li> <li>Familiarity with data privacy, security, and governance practices for AI.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Exposure to conversational AI platforms or customer experience automation.</li> <li>Knowledge of agentic workflows and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Workato, SnapLogic).</li> <li>Experience in measuring the business impact of AI solutions on KPIs like CSAT or NPS.</li> <li>Background in building AI solutions for enterprise customer portals, support systems, or CRM-integrated workflows.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Generous, transparent and fair compensation system (base salary and generous Restricted Stock Unit for Asana Inc.) </li> <li>Contract of Employment (<strong>with</strong> <strong>50% tax deductible costs for author’s rights usage for Engineers) </strong></li> <li>Health insurance with dental and travel coverage (Lux Med) </li> <li>Lunch catering on the days that you work from the office</li> <li>Career growth budget </li> <li>Home office setup budget </li> <li>Gym/Fitness reimbursement</li> <li>Fertility healthcare and family-forming support with <a href="https://www.get-carrot.com/">Carrot</a></li> <li>Mental health support in Modern Health</li> <li>Group life insurance</li> <li>MacBooks with all necessary accessories</li> </ul> <p>For this role, the estimated base salary range is between 26,417 - 30,000 PLN gross monthly on the contract of employment (UoP).
