About the role

Northwest Pump is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team in NW Portland. This position will play a key role in providing support to various HR functions including HRIS administration, recruiting & onboarding, training & development, benefit administration, and assisting with day-to-day HR communications and requests. As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone excited to develop their skills and explore various aspects of HR.

What are we looking for?

  • HRIS and/or ATS experience preferred
  • Familiarity with any combination of the following areas of HR is preferred: recruiting & onboarding, training & development, benefit administration, and/or employee relations
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making ability
  • Ability to organize, plan, and consistently meet deadlines
  • Track record of reliability and dependability
  • Ability to work autonomously, and collaboratively; self-motivated
  • Committed to ethical practices and staying current on laws and regulations
  • Familiar with computer programs including Microsoft Office 365
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) and two years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

What else?

  • This is a full-time position working regular business hours, Monday through Friday
  • You'll have the option of working either a hybrid or fully on-site schedule
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and reference checks
