Monroe Group is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team!

 
We are seeking a Housekeeper to help maintain cleanliness on the property. Our ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, and has an eye for details. Must enjoy working with people and have a passion for customer service!

 
Summary: Under the supervision and direction of the Community Manager, this position must provide; a clean, sanitary comfortable, orderly and satisfying surrounding for the residents, employees, and visitors. The housekeeper must follow the instructions as given for handling, cleaning, disposing, and moving of objects/materials.

· Cleaning of halls, common areas, and vacant units, to include but not limited to, floors, walls, doors, bathrooms, grounds, stairwells, windows and appliances as instructed

· Develops property cleaning schedule with supervisor for adequate coverage of buildings and ground

· Maintains appropriate levels of cleaning supply inventory

· Maintains cleaning equipment in working order

· Post notices as needed

· Work with maintenance and community manager for scheduling of vacant unit cleaning

· Decorate for the holidays including the hanging of decorations

· Assist in community meetings, holiday functions, and special resident requests as needed

· Pick up trash

· Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness

· Assist maintenance team with make-ready's

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS for consideration are:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· English language proficiency (read, speak and write)

· The ability to pass a full background check

· Valid driver's license and vehicle is required

· The work schedule is Monday-Friday

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma or equivalent. 

· At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in an affordable housing environment.
