This is what #LifeAtBNY is all about.</p> <p>We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Senior Loan Agency Specialist I to join our Corporate Trust Operations team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland – hybrid working.</p> <p>In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: </p> <ul> <li>Responsible for administering and servicing a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral loans </li> <li>Manage daily administration of loan activities, to include facilitating loan advances, payments rate pricing, and fees. </li> <li>Ensure that risks are appropriately identified and actively managed </li> <li>Manage complex external escalations resolving operational issues as appropriate  </li> <li>Serve as point of contact for complex escalations, operational and technical issues, and ensuring proper resolution</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret commercial loan agreements and documents, as necessary. </li> <li>Assist in communicating needs and issues with internal teams and external clients.</li> <li>Resolve complex issues based on an understanding and knowledge of the intricacies of the loan system.</li> <li>Use in-depth area knowledge to apply ingenuity and creativity to common repeat problems and determines more permanent resolutions.</li> </ul> <p>To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: </p> <ul> <li>Preferably degree education and/or industry qualifications</li> <li>5-7 years of directly related experience with syndicated loans and/or comparable commercial banking experience </li> <li>Experience with Loan IQ and ClearPar strongly preferred </li> <li>Prior experience acting as a subject matter expert and coordinating the work of others.</li> <li>Ability to lead, provide guidance and work under limited supervision</li> <li>Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines </li> </ul> <p>At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
