Here is what you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Architecture, Construction Management or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in corporate real estate and construction management, with 5+ years in a senior/executive leadership role.
- Proven track record managing multi-site portfolios and leading complex real estate and construction initiatives.
- Expertise in real estate finance, lease negotiation, property law, and construction project delivery.
- Experience in healthcare or highly regulated environments preferred.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Certified Property Manager (CPM), MCR, or CCIM designation preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%.
A Day in the Life of a Sr. Director of Real Estate and Construction:
- Provide services and support for the following areas:

Strategic Real Estate Leadership
- Lead the enterprise-wide real estate strategy in alignment with business objectives and long-term planning efforts.
- Partner with executive leadership (COO, VPs) and cross-functional teams (Brand, Region, Affiliate, Legal, and Finance) to develop and execute 1-, 3-, and 5-year real estate plans.
- Serve as a senior advisor on all real estate matters, providing market insight, risk mitigation, and scenario planning.
- Identify and implement cost-effective real estate solutions, including strategic lease vs. own decisions, location analysis, and financial modeling.

Portfolio and Transaction Management
- Direct and manage all corporate real estate transactions, including site selection, due diligence, lease negotiation, and documentation.
- Lead strategic negotiations for complex lease and acquisition agreements.
- Manage relationships with brokers, landlords, developers, and third-party real estate service providers.
- Maintain performance oversight of Solis’s real estate portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, financial targets, and space utilization metrics.

Construction and Capital Project Oversight
- Provide executive oversight of high-priority construction and renovation projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and design standards are achieved.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of construction initiatives—from conceptual planning to finished facility.
- Ensure design and construction processes adhere to regulatory standards, corporate procedures, and branding requirements.

Compliance, Governance & Administration
- Oversee corporate real estate governance, including policy development and compliance with applicable laws and lease obligations.
- Ensure accurate and timely portfolio reporting, including lease abstraction, occupancy metrics, and 10-K real estate disclosures.
- Resolve critical landlord/tenant issues and lead resolution of escalated lease matters and space disputes.
- Partner with Legal Counsel and Lease Administration to maintain risk-managed and fully compliant real estate operations.

- Lead and develop a high-performing team of real estate and construction professionals.
