Director, HR Business Partner

Job Description

We’re looking for a Director, Talent Business Partner to join Procore’s Global Talent Organization. In this role, you’ll align talent priorities in a strategic way to solve  complex yet exciting core business problems. This role will support the G&A functions including Legal, Finance and HR.

Your primary objective will be to bring your talent expertise to Procore to help us achieve our bold business goals in a way that strengthens our company values. 

As a Director, Talent Business Partner, you’ll partner with internal partners such as finance, legal, employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and communications to collaborate in supporting the business. Use your collaboration, partnership, and leadership skills to support Procore in its desire to improve the lives of everyone in construction. 

This position reports into the VP, Talent Business Partners. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Lead, develop and coach a team of talent business partners and partner closely with the talent generalist organization

• Gain a deep understanding of the G&A organization and Procore overall. Work with the various executives on workforce challenges and strategy, aligning talent priorities with business objectives to scale and transform the organization.

• Lead the development and execution of talent management processes, including performance review cycles, succession planning, compensation reviews, employee engagement surveys, talent reviews, and succession planning

• Empower executives through coaching and advising in talent-related areas, including performance concerns and sensitive employee relations issues

• Assess organizational development needs and provide partnership and support in the areas of organizational effectiveness, organizational design, and change management

• Analyze data, trends, and metrics to drive insights, develop recommendations/solutions, and influence decision-making

• Support and be an advocate of enterprise-wide talent priorities, including Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), and serve as a steward of Procore’s culture

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and 10+ years applicable Talent Business Partner/HR Business Partner experience with a proven experience closely partnering with C-Suite executives within an organization

• Effective in addressing change and transformation in an organization and ability to design, implement, and lead change initiatives

• Excellent judgment with experiencing assessing risk relative to the business, with a successful track record of managing complex and sensitive employee issues

• Coaching/consulting experience with the ability to influence outcomes, strong business acumen, and a bias for action

• Ability to turn insights into actions, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills

• Successful in establishing relationships and managing stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including collaboration across people and business teams, regardless of organizational and geographical boundaries

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work at a strategic and tactical level to meet business objectives

• Demonstrated ability to scale processes and organizations in a SaaS or technology environment is highly desired

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $160,800-$221,100. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
