Position Summary:
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Assisting employment activities such as maintaining all personnel records up to date, interacting with different departments with any assistance needed, establishing positive employee relations, assisting new hire process, organizing office events, performing special projects and research related topics effective to Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts new hire orientation and assists with the onboarding processes, including background checks and drug screening verifications.
- Maintains employee records and compliance by updating and scanning employee files for accuracy and completeness. Ensures all employee records are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintains employees informed about company policies, safety, news, and upcoming events.
- Employee Engagement: Takes the lead in organizing and facilitating company events, meetings, and initiatives. Collaborates with various departments to create and sustain a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Collaborates with department leaders to identify HR-related needs and provide solutions.
- Provides comprehensive administrative support to the HR Team maintaining high levels of confidentiality.
- Ensures that all office-related duties are executed efficiently and accurately.
- Remains flexible to handle other HR-related tasks as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the HR department and the organization.
Must Have:
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of HR experience.
- Solid understanding of HR functions, employment laws, and labor regulations.
- Proficient in HR administration and employee relations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Highly computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrates sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Anticipated salary range: $25 to 28/hour depending on qualifications and experience.
