Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Description

Responsibilities

• Process Shipments with various carriers (UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc)
• Update information in the ERP system
• Package shipments
• Build crates for shipments
• Assist with assembly
• Use a variety of hand tools
• Sandblast or sand various parts
• Receive incoming shipments from suppliers and post into the ERP system
• Label incoming parts and put Inventory into location
• Read technical drawings/prints
• Use precision measuring instruments/calipers
• Perform quality checks on incoming goods
• Pick and organize parts and materials for assembly
• Perform Inventory and Cycle Count duties as needed
• Assist in other departments as needed
• Maintain compliance with standards for safety & quality

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED
• 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role (Preference given to vocational school graduate or those with machine shop experience.)
