PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Multi-skilled technician with a current State Board of Electricity Journeyman or Master license providing focused competency maintenance support. This position is a highly developed troubleshooting electrical technician that follows and enforces the National Electrical Code (NFPA 79)
  • Mentoring apprentice (unlicensed) electricians is a requirement
  • Trained on all electrical hazards and is an advocate for our electrical safety programs
  • Continuous job-related training and current electrical license is required for this position
  • Understand, troubleshoot and problem solve issues of intermediate complexity in advanced electrical/mechanical systems (PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, etc.)
  • Can troubleshoot internal networks and MES equipment integration
  • Use the National Electrical Code (NFPA 79) to enforce code that applies to electrical installations
  • Diagnose PLC and HMI programs. (Load, modify, create)
  • Understand switch functions and trip curves of low
