Digital Content Creator

Position Summary: 

Provides support to the Communications Department of Prestonwood Baptist Church (PBC) while assisting in video creation and production to maintain and enhance digital strategy and social media presence.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Communications on all projects for social media
• Create and edit weekend highlights from PBC services
• Create and edit weekly sermon quotes
• Create and edit ads for paid marketing
• Create and edit ministry and event highlight videos
• Oversee pop-up editing and content needs
• Create graphics and other visual elements for videos
• Create motion graphics videos as needed
• Protect branding based on pre-determined guidelines
• Maintain PBC’s YouTube channel, graphics, and layout
• Assist in content creation for PowerPoint Ministries social media as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements: 

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC
• Strong collaborative, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong proactive skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with assigned deadlines
• Ability to create graphics content in After Effects
• Ability to complete current editing projects in Premiere Pro
• Experience working with social media platforms and file requirements
• Willingness to learn new software and trends
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Working knowledge of the Sony Alpha line
• Basic 3-Point lighting skills
• Social media proficiency with Instagram, Facebook, X(Twitter) and YouTube
• Ability to work varying schedules including evenings and weekends (generally Sunday - Thursday)
• Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, and able to perform continuous, sit at a desk for and complete repetitive hand and finger movements over an extended period of time
