Registered Nurse (RN) STICU Part Time

We are seeking a part-time night shift ICU RN for our Surgical Trauma ICU. 

Inova Loudoun Hospital is a growing 183-bed nationally recognized acute-care community hospital with a rich history of proudly serving our growing and diverse community since 1912. We provide compassionate and comprehensive care for the entire family. 

Our Surgical Trauma ICU unit is an 11-bed unit on the first floor with close proximity to both the OR and the ER.  We care for critically ill surgical and trauma patients, including neurosurgery, vascular surgery, general surgery patients, along with post-procedural patients.  We also care for Intermediate Care level surgical and trauma patients as well.

Patient to Nurse Ratio: 2:1 (ICU patients) and 3:1 (IMC patients) in the STICU. 

Schedule: Part-time Nights (2 x 12-hour shifts)

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. ICU RN experience strongly recommended.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.  If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
• RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required from American Heart Association
• Proficient in English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.
