In this role, you will provide leadership and oversight to business operations to assure adherence to all aspects of internal company and external regulatory compliance. You will insure appropriate mechanisms are in place to comply with relevant laws and regulations, and adherence to corporate programs and practices. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Counseling Baker Hughes business on global export control and sanctions requirements, applies for governmental export licenses, and provides compliance advice and oversight for international trade activities on a global basis.
• Assisting with the interpreting applicable regulations and implement changes to affected processes or business practices to meet new regulatory compliance requirements.
• Elaborating proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own field.
• Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
• Representing Trade Compliance by maintaining consultative communication with management and staff across multiple business functions.
• Performing daily operational tasks with supervision and/or collaboration.
• Contributing to project as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete, and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with good experience in International Trade Compliance).
• Show strong research and analytical skills.
• Display excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Show knowledge of EU Export Control Regulations, Economic Sanctions and regulations.
