Principal Business Analyst, Global Supply Chain ERP

About the role:

Reporting to the Global Head of ERP, the Prinncipal BA, Global Supply Chain ERP is a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Biogen’s Global Supply Chain ERP systems. In this role you are accountable for the technical implementation and operation of Oracle EBS Supply Chain and Oracle Process Manufacturing systems and the ancillary integrations. This is a highly visible and hands-on role that is the primary contact between Global Supply Chain IT, global IT and business units. 

You will work closely with business users, IT leaders, project teams, and other support teams and provides advanced ERP applications expertise.

What you'll do:

As BA you are responsible for working closely with the business stakeholder to support and deliver system solutions. This will require understanding of end-to-end business processes of Supply Chain & Manufacturing and how they are executed using ERP applications. You will provide hands on guidance on business requirements development, system design and delivery.

You will work through all phases of the SDLC including, but not limited to, leading focus groups and workshops to discuss requirements, articulate business processes and creating functional designs that meet the requirement of the supply chain initiatives, testing and deploying the solutions.

• You provide advanced technical applications expertise and advice to business users, IT leaders, project teams, and other support teams.
• Lead projects and manage requirements development, functional design, and Technical Design. Provide recommendations on Technology solutions to address business needs.
• Configure and test Oracle Applications 12 e-Business Suite: Oracle Inventory (INV), Bills of Material (BOM), Process manufacturing, Order Management (OM) and Advance Pricing
• You develop & document detailed functional specifications, business process models and scenarios. Facilitate Conference Room Pilot (CRPs) sessions and Proof-of-Concept development. Participate in the BPO user forums.
• Understand required integration with other applications – Financials, 3PLs, CMOs
• Participate in regular project status reviews & support the implementation readiness review process.

Who you are:

Agile and accountable Subject Matter Expert with sound experience of Oracle EBS. You will also require understanding of business process analysis, functional requirements, solution design, process implementation and testing. You gained extensive experience working in a global and diverse, team-oriented, collaborative environment. You enjoy to communicate effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate technical solution alternatives. Ability to conduct workshops with core team, implementation teams, and end users. You excel in anayzing and solving complex problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Operations Management or associated field.
• Overall 8+ years of relevant experience
• Biotech / Life Sciences experience preferred
• MUST have strong communication skills including presentation and facilitation skills with international users.
• Expertise in Oracle EBS Manufacturing & Supply Chain (OM, Inventory, PO, Advance Pricing, Discrete & Process manufacturing, ASCP etc., modules)
• Experience in Oracle e-Business suite best practices
• Good working knowledge of Oracle e-Business architecture and administration and the ability to quickly diagnose and solve system problems.
• Should have basic Oracle Application related technical skills; must have knowledge of Oracle Applications Architecture
• Experience with business process design, key configuration workshops, GAP identification, RICEW identification, Functional Design, Test Planning and Test Execution
• Proficient in a range of Oracle eBS R12 & 11i implementations, Roll Outs, Post implementation support with AIM methodologies.
• Experience in Oracle eBS implementation methodologies (AIM) across different phases of Business Process Study, Requirement Gathering, As-Is & To-Be Mapping (Solution Design), CRPs, UATs, SITs, Build till Go-live
• Fluent in English skills
