About the role:

Raft is providing direct support to the Air Operations Center (AOC) Combat Planning Division ensuring Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Plans, Airspace Control Orders, Air Tasking Orders, and other artifacts as directed by the CPD Chief are produced and accessible, even in degraded or denied environments. In addition, this team member will be responsible for modernizing existing processes to improve resiliency through automation and distribution.

• Support Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) operations, contingencies, exercises, and tests within the USPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) by analyzing and providing recommendations for new technologic solutions
• Serve as the main point of contact for the technical employment, execution, and operations of IAMD situational awareness systems, including Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC), Processing and Display Subsystem-Migration (PDS-M), Global Command and Control Systems-Joint (GCCS-J), and Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI)
• Delivers Area Air Defense Plans (AADP) to support OPLAN/CONPLANs for the Theater Area Air Defense Commander IAW Joint Publication 3-30.
• Delivers Airspace Control Plans (ACP) to support OPLAN/CONPLANs for the Theater Airspace Control Authority IAW Joint Publication 3-30.
• Supports development and implementation of the Theater Joint Air Component Commander (TJFACC) Special Instructions IAW TJFACC guidance, JAOP, AADP and ACP.
• Monitor the IAMD systems, architecture, and related support equipment to analyze system malfunctions and operations as it applies to CONOP, TTP development and modernization efforts
• Support division personnel and division chief in IAMD operating tactics, techniques, procedures, and asset management.
• Assist with defense designs in support of assigned and contingency missions or plans or IAW established guidelines and policies.

What we are looking for: 

• We desire an experienced military air operations planner (pilot, weapons officer, or flight officer) or other service participation in command, service, Joint or Combatant Command (CCMD) staffs, processes or operations
• At least 5 years of experience working in an Air Force Air Operations Center (AOC)
• At least 5 years of experience with Joint Operations Planning Process Air (JOPPA), Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX) or Joint Oper and crisis planning and deliberate planning processes
• Experience with IAMD situational awareness tools, including C2BMC2, PDS-M, GCCS-J or ADSI 
• Experience with the management and development of advanced IAMD concepts, documentation, and doctrine 
• Knowledge of the Joint and Combined operational planning process, U.S. and foreign air and missile defense systems, IAMD operations, and space-based IAMD capabilities
• Knowledge of Joint Publications and the Joint Operations Planning Process Knowledge of air and missile defense processes, regulations, and policies to effectively coordinate IAMD operations in the AOR
• Five years of experience with defense planning and operations at the strategic, theater, or tactical level.
• Experience with upper-tier or lower-tier air and missile defense systems or BMD command and control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) systems. 
• At least 3 years of experience with using commonly used business products to include, but not limited to Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
