Schedule: 3- 12 hr. shifts per week on the Night Shift (7p – 7a) + rotating weekends

Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is proud to offer a dynamic and supportive environment for healthcare professionals.  Our 8-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provides care for a diverse patient population – from ventilated patients to overflow cases.  Nurses in our ICU unit typically enjoy 12 hr. shifts with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, with occasional 1:3 ratios depending on patient acuity, allowing for focused and high-quality care.

How you’ll contribute  

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role: 

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs 

• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions 

• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient 

• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record 

• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

What we’re looking for 
Applicants should have a current North Carolina state or compact state RN license.  Additional requirements include: 

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire

• ACLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Associate’s degree in nursing is required (Bachelor’s degree is preferred)  

• One year of RN experience in a health care setting is preferred
