As a key member of the Finance and Accounting team, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for providing accounting services to the organization as whole, contributing towards the monthly financial reporting goals.

 

This role will work closely with the Finance team to provide support for internal customers such as the Operations and Account Management teams and will report to the Regional Controller.

 

This is a hybrid position.

 

Expedition Expectations 

• Prepare and recording of client invoicing
• Reconcile client and enterprise credit cards
• Aid in the day-to-day accounting functions including, but not limited to, month-end/year-end close processes, general ledger entries and adjustments, balance sheet account reconciliations and financial statement analysis and review
• Act as technical resource to other accounting staff and department managers
• Other duties and projects as assigned

 

 Passport to Success 

• BS/BA degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Strong financial acumen along with problem identification, analytical and resolution skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivator with the ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines
• Detail oriented and able to adopt a flexible, hands-on approach in relation to the strategic direction of the company
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

 

Going the Extra Mile 

• Travel or service industry experience, including experience with Agresso, Central Command, Global Max, Globalware, Trams, Travcom and/or Global Matrix preferred
