Job Description
Publicis Sports, the sports marketing division within Publicis Groupe and Publicis Media, is searching for a VP of Product Strategy to join its team based in New York, NY. This position requires a highly motivated and entrepreneurial-minded person to oversee product development in support of our client’s sports and entertainment property and media partnerships.
Responsibilities include understanding client, competitive, and industry needs, and using that knowledge to inform product development with internal engineering teams. The ideal candidate will combine a strong background in marketing and advertising technology with a passion for sports.

Your Impact:
- Establish market and competitive intelligence to inform leaders and their respective teams of important sports league and industry updates
- Develop strategic and product priorities for PS in partnership with business leads
- Provide insights that support the go-to-market and market performance of sports products and solutions through the various stages of the product lifecycle (e.g., ideation, prototyping, piloting, market launch, commercialization, feature enhancements, and scaling)
- Create and manage product roadmaps in partnership with engineering teams, prioritizing features/capabilities, and making strategic decisions about product development and enhancements.
- Structure recurring communications for senior business leaders and key stakeholders that effectively relays critical product status and roadmap progress.
- Contribute to positive team culture to foster high performance, efficient processes, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
- 7+ years of relevant experience in strategy, business development, or product management; Sports and/or entertainment industry experience preferred
- Ability to leverage data and anecdotal feedback to structure complex problems and make decisions
- Intellectual curiosity and propensity to learn new subjects quickly
- Strong relationship development and negotiating skills; ability to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members
- Proven experience in collaborating across teams and lines of business within large organizations, including influencing stakeholders and working with diverse teams
- Ability to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordingly
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Advanced MS PowerPoint and Excel skills, with demonstrated ability to simplify complex subject matter into digestible executive communications

Compensation Range: $153,000 - $240,500. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
