Project Manager - Control Label Alcohol

The  Program/Project Manager- Control Label Alcohol will work with the designated Alcohol Category Manager(s) to support and maintain our brand and customer experience by owning item maintenance, driving product in-stocks, managing warehousing/ wholesaler relationships, promotional planning, creating/presenting reports and product training information. We are looking for an individual that is opportunistic, customer-focused and that is capable of partnering with cross-functional teams (ie. Supply Chain, Planning, Store Operations, Marketing and Digital Merchandising) to surpass financial objectives.   It will be imperative that this person demonstrates the problem-solving and analytical skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial remote environment.

You Will:

• Work with Planning, Allocations, Merchandising and Pricing Teams to execute the new item setup process for in-app retail experience
• Assist Alcohol Category Manager(s) in pricing and positioning of category products
• Establish a deep understanding of Gopuff’s retail stores and e-premise business, internal processes, and overall Gopuff Private Label alcohol assortment 
• Create full calendar promotion plan set by Alcohol Category Manager(s), work cross-functionally to implement promotional plans
• Partner with Supply Chain to maintain in-stock levels to support a customer first mentality
• Track, measure and report financial impact of initiatives against financial targets
• Monitor performance across multiple classes and locations and analyze data to create initiatives
• Maintain costing, pricing, contracts, and product catalog information

You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing, Finance, Business, or Economics is a plus)
• 2+ years of related experience
• Strong Project Management and presentation skills
• Must have knowledge of Merchandising, Marketing, Financial Planning, and overall Supply Chain
• Experience in convenience or CPG is a plus, as is Alcohol  
• Capable of taking initiative, ownership, and accountability for the business
• Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency
• Management, training and development experience is required
• Affinity for using research, syndicated data, and consumer-specific insights to inform creative and productive decision-making as it pertains to assortment and category management
• Must possess a demonstrable ability to navigate a wide spectrum of product lines specific to our customer
• Must have strong computer skills – proficiency with excel or Google Sheets is required 
• Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized
• Must have effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Awareness of our current brand and product mix and initial insight to opportunities
