This full-time position is ideal for a general neurologist or a specialist in a neurology subspecialty who is looking to practice in a community-based setting with academic affiliation. The physician will provide outpatient and inpatient neurology services, with opportunities to collaborate with colleagues at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Sidney Kimmel Medical College.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality general neurology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Participate in stroke call and inpatient consults
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Jefferson Health network
Optional participation in teaching medical students and residents
Participate in quality initiatives and department development
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Strong interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills
Subspecialty training is welcome but not required (e.g., epilepsy, movement disorders, MS, headache)
