Neuro IMC is a 13-bed Intermediate Care nursing unit. Neuro IMC serves as a dedicated stroke nursing unit. As a Neuro IMC unit, care is rendered to a variety of intermediate care neuro patients including but not limited to:

  • High acuity ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients
  • Patients receiving IV thrombolytic for acute ischemic stroke
  • Patients requiring continuous EEG monitoring
  • Patients with other neurological disorders such as Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALS
  • Patients with hemodynamic instability needing antiarrhythmic and/or vasopressor medications

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.  

  • Educational Requirements: Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required

  • Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience – Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire
