Nuclear Subject Matter Expert - Project Delivery Lead

Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey—before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.

Work You’ll Do

As a Project Delivery Lead on the project, you will:

• Provide budgetary and strategic program management support for the Office of Stockpile Production Integration.
• Assist in managing portfolios to support the stockpile production integration mission to strengthen efforts related to nuclear explosive safety, production support, weapons quality, and nuclear enterprise assurance.
• Assist in developing policies, procedures, programs, and strategies that address current and emerging stockpile production challenges and opportunities.
• Provide expert technical advice to staff.

Qualifications

Required: 

• Master’s degree in a science or engineering related field
• Active DOE/NNSA “Q” security clearance required
• Ability to travel up to 30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• 10+ years of government experience, including 5+ years of experience with NNSA programs
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 

Preferred: 

• SIGMA 14, SIGMA 15 clearance
• Experience with stockpile production, systems engineering and weapons production modernization
