Summary of Job Duties:
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a Graduate Assistant for TRIO/McNair. They will be responsible for managing the data entry of workshops and events, maintaining student records, scanning and filing documents into student folders, and serve as a resource for McNair Scholars. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy. The position pays $8,000/ year if taking 9 hours per semester (full-time) and $4,000 or less/ year if taking less than fulltime hours.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled at UA Little Rock and regular admission to Graduate School.
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA;
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous office/customer service experience;
Previous experience with student services;
Understanding and commitment to the mission and objectives of McNair.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the data entry of workshops and events;
Manage student announcements and alerts;
Act as a resource for McNair Scholars;
Maintain student records and file documents into student folders;
Assist office staff with promoting events and activities;
Assist staff with managing student applications and required documents;
Other duties as assigned by McNair Director.
